Note that using your DAW's load/save bank function, the bank will always be loaded into the slot where it was stored, not the one currently selected. This is because in the VST standard, there is no difference between loading/saving patches, and loading/saving a project. To be 100% sure projects containing Dune instances are restored properly, a bank is always loaded into the slot it was saved with.

While I'd like that too, it's a design flaw for practical reasons. The first problem is some major hosts (e.g. Cubase) have issues when more than 128 presets are exposed. The second problem is when increasing the number of patches later, some hosts won't recall older sessions properly, and third party banks will be no longer fully compatible. Essentially you'll be stuck with the 512 patch system.
Internally, a "Load/Save All" command is of course possible
