I think it was quite brave of him to come clean and should be encouraged to stay clean rather than get banned. Let's hope it's a lesson learned for him!

True! We wish that all other crack's users will go with same way and will buy legal version. Maby each plugin problem report should be started with an answers for 2 base questions: 1) Do I have legal version and registration process is done properly? 2) Have I been using cracked version before?

I'm with you on that one. I was once in that place too, until one day I wrote an email to Rich, telling him about it. Warez stuff can contain malicious codes, and dealing with them can bring you to a point where it's just not worth it. I'm not judging, there could be all sorts of reasons (although I'm sure most would disagree), even though it's really hair-pulling experience to use them 90% of the time, and people that do use them should be encouraged to go legal. It's quite a relief really, and the difference is enormous with many advantages that come with it, like updates and good support when you need it - all hassle free.
But what I see as an issue is people expecting help without telling everything that might be of any relevance.

brave or not, he's an idiot for acting like a child and demanding a refund when he's a warez user.
