Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,
Don't know what you mean with the cm after DUNE but I can definetly recommend Rob Lee's soundsets. Not free, worth it and perfect for dance, house and other club sounds. Just working on a Video Games remix and using like 3 instances with Rob's patches. Demo of a soundbank http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cabPxn8hU_g Shop offer with 2 packages. I'd get in touch with Rob by myself. Maybe it's cheaper. The Dune Mainroom Electro House Presets under the Lee package are also cool. http://www.producerloops.com/de/downloa ... ne-sounds/ In Kriminal's link list are a lot of none pro patches which are ok, but I'd rather get a package from a pro. Makes a difference. A lot of "self made" patches aren't balanced and do not work in a mix. I presonally use 'Rob Lee Dune Vol 2 - Trance and House' a lot The Vengeance packs are also great but more for Trance productions.
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,
have a wild guess, or try Google
as he specifically asked for free kits, and is using a free version of Dune, his expectations may be lower than yours, or he may just know how to tweak then so they do work in a mix. Either way, the list is there and he can make his own mind up. Its comprehensive and no further comment is needed on each ones quality. I know. But isn't giving advice beyond the original request something good? Why stay to what has been asked if there's more that can be answered.
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank, beacuse it so subjective, what you think is good he may thin is not, no two ppl ahve the same taste
by all means point to the specific ones that have house presets, but there is no need to comment on perceived quality. Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM

Every recommendation is subjective.
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,Yes, but he did ask for free ones, meaning he's not interested in paying for patches, which makes such recommendations obsolete.

Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,
How can a recommendation to something good ever become obsolete? What if he can pay for it later and remembers that link and buys that thing and is up and doing great stuff with it. It's like don't listen to any information which is not exactly what you are looking for? Great approach. Guess mankind would still sit on trees with an apple beetween the two long front teeth.
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,Does Dune CM load patches made with the full version of Dune?
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,
Just as easily as you asking for a bicycle, and someone here recommends a 1200cc Honda. It just isn't what you asked for. And yes, while he might buy it at some point, he's also welcomed to ask what he's interested in, like saying "Hi guys, I'm interested in commercial patches. Where could I get those?", and then you just give him the link. Doesn't that seem straightforward to you? Not to mention that there is that list of patches too he can always check
It's missing the effects section and has half the matrix slots, but don't know if patches load or not. Maybe they do, only don't sound as they're intended. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Anyone recommend a sound bank for Dune cm, a free bank,
Yes...according to the CM guy, which he stated in a thread, on kvr. No fx, but all 24 matrix slots will work for modulations, but DuneCM users will only have access to 12 of those. edit: I just realized something is wrong here. I meant that the modulations of 24 matrix slots will be heard by the DuneCM user, but only the first 12 of them will be editable.
