Hi.
When I save a bank file using DUNE in Logic, it saves it as an fxb.
Is there a way to save it as an AU bank?
Is it even necessary?
I can load and save a bank as fxb in Logic, then I really don't need the option, do I?
Thanks for any help.

an AU is a PLUGIN (i.e. DUNE runs as an AU).
a bank file is a collection of sounds, and saves as a .fxb.
the way it's working IS the way it works...so you're fine...

I worded it wrong. Not a bank, but an "audio unit preset"
If I open Logic or Garageband, and save the preset through the Logic wrapper, and not the synth itself. It saves it as an AU preset. If I select "save preset" using the Garageband wrapper (the options at the top of the synth wrapper) it will save an "audio unit preset" of the sound.
In fact, there was something said by the developer of DUNE, that a recent update made saving audio unit presets possible with the latest version, which is why I'm asking about it, as I don't know why it's not saving them as au presets, but fxp instead.
Apparently what you don't know, is that Logic only saves it's own included synths presets as AU "Audio Unit Presets" files, and most other synths too.
Try it and see, then tell me I'm wrong again.
Save a preset in the es2, scultpure, or anything, then look at that saved presets extension.
What does it read?
Thank you...I think you understand what an au preset is now.

you worded it wrong? hard to answer a question that's been worded wrong.
whats the issue exactly? if everything is working, hard to see a problem.
either way, dude, am only trying to help..

The native and preferred format is FXB / FXP though.
