dune saved fxp patches keep resetting!

so i just bought dune and im very happy with it, and find it very fun to program. that said, will somebody please explain to me why when (after setting all knobs to default) when i make a sound, and save it as an fxp why does the patch get corrupted and no longer work. this has happened 3 times and its getting old very fast. after saving the fxp, and loading it, it does nothing. like the fxp is wiped. why is this happening? when, you save an fxp, the patch should save! its not. and when i load the fxp all i see is a patch from the fsb. i made some nice sounds too

Saving fxp and fxb def works so lets try to work this out

what are you system specs and what host are you using
are you using dune to save patches or your hosts preset manager?

reaper. quadcore q9450. 3 gigs ram. windows7. dune to save patches.

Just to check, when you save a sound, you rename it ?
Does it load with that name, but the sound is not what you saved?

i dont use warez. but i would like to figure this out. i just bought dune yesterday i know because my bank says 27.00 left.

Maybe you should try reinstalling DUNE.
Judging from some other problems you've posted about on kvr as well. (Korg M1)
You should really check your system.
You might want to clean it up.
Do antivirus scans, and such...defrag harddrive, make sure your soundcard is working correctly.
It sounds like a virus or overloaded harddrive problems. Strange things happen like that when a system is in poor shape.
How much free space do you have on your hd?

Did you try the DUNE Demo before you purchased?

I've never had problems saving Dune patches in Reaper. But then again I'm on WinXP 32 bit so I can't really help much here......

it may have been a virus/spyware issue. just did a clean reinstall of windows 7. ill report back l8.
