Am getting massive ASIO performance usage increase when using modulation to change the volume of an oscillator in the Osc Mixer section.
This happens when the value of the volume hits exactly 0 (or tries to go below) I suspect this is some division by zero bug that causes the huge computing overload.
Now normally you could just say well, if the oscillator volume is at say 32, and you're assigning mod wheel to it, just make sure it only reduces it to -31.
That's all fine and well BUT, what if you're also wanting to modulate the volume of that specific oscillator with midi velocity. This works fine for midi velocity 127 notes, but if you're playing notes very quietly and engage the mod wheel, this then lowers the osc volume below the 0 point and thus you get the ASIO overload.
If this is a division type zero bug, would it be possible to insert some additional code which says "If osc mixer vol is less than or equal to 0, make value 0.001" or something like that?
Thanks

Re: Dune 2.5 ASIO Performance overload on vol modulationThis looks like it would be easy to fix, however I could not reproduce the issue. Could you post or send us an example patch please?
