Dune 3: Shimmer verbs feedback loop?

Hi,

I'm experiencing strange behavior from the shimmer verbs (room and hall). It's almost as if they get stuck in a loop that continues on well after playing and then abruptly stops. Everything starts out fine, but after a few minutes or so, this happens.

It occurs on both the demo version and full version.

I'm on Windows 7, 64bit Reaper 5.971.

It happens with just a basic init saw and shimmer, but of course, I gripe and it hasn't happened since. If it does, I'll post again in detail because it definitely put a damper on things.
