Dune 3.512
The Amount wheel in the Browser from the genetics function does not do anything at all here if I move it. No matter if I use 2 or 3 presets and which ones.

Re: Dune 3 Genetic AmountFrom the manual:
The Genetics function can weight the selected patches differently. This is controlled by the "Amount" knob. The larger the value, the more patches 2 and 3 are factored into the final sound. At the minimum value of 0%, patches 2 and 3 are not considered at all, i.e. the first patch remains as is. You can check this by selecting three patches and setting the amount knob to zero then hit generate. Then selecting the same three patches and setting the knob to 100% and hitting generate again. The difference is quite audible here.
Re: Dune 3 Genetic AmountThanks, then it's not a bug. But I have read the manual and it doesn't say this that you have to set the amount before you click on generate. I thought after you have generated a sound the amount wheel will move all the other wheels more to the one or to the other preset. Ok so I got it wrong. Would have been cool also btw.
But how much does it mix the presets in the end then? If I put the amount to 100 % and I have 2 presets, will they be mixed both 50 %? How is it spread if I put the Amount to 50 % or 100 % and I have 3 presets?
Re: Dune 3 Genetic AmountAs i understand it, if set to 100%, it mixes all of them equally.
So, if using 2, 50% each, if 3, 33% each... So lesser amounts mean more of the original is present. Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
