Hi there, I've noticed that some Synapse effects REs don't autoroute correctly when replacing existing effects in Reason (13.1, Windows 11).
This occurs at least for the Fat Space and Deep Space reverbs, possibly others.
The issue is that only the left output is autorouted, while the right remains disconnected.
To give an example:
- Add a Thor synth and attach an RV7000 reverb in an empty document
- Drag and drop a Fat Space reverb from the device palette over the RV7000, replacing it
- Observe that the right output channel of Fat Space is disconnected. Only the left channel is auto routed. (see attached image)
I suspect it’s a case of auto route hinting being misconfigured for these REs, as other REs don't exhibit this behavior.
I know these plugins probably aren't top priority at the moment, but I thought I’d report anyway just in case a fix is possible. I just ran into this a couple times, and it took a while to figure out what was happening.
Thanks for all the great work you do!

Re: Synapse effect REs don't autoroute correctlyHi, this is known issue, yes. Reason 13 changed the auto routing behaviour, but our effects are using the older defines and frameworks. We are not sure if it is possible to update those plgins, however, particularly the ones made with the first version of the framework. Please note that the issue happens only when replacing the effect. inserting a new effect for the stereo synth should route properly.
Re: Synapse effect REs don't autoroute correctlyI see, thanks for the explanation. I didn't realize Reason 13 had changed things.
