Good evening, I noticed that even if I remove all files from folder sampler names remain the same, why?
If I delete all the files from the presets there should be those names is not it? Thanks

Sound of samplerThe list that you see as in your screenshot are the preset files, located in "My Documents -> Synapse Audio -> Orion (or Orion64 if you're using a 64bit version) -> Presets -> (generator preset folders/files here)". Deleting folders/files there will make the list you see disappear.
"My Documents" folder is located in - for Windows XP users: C:Documents and Settings - for Vista/7 users: C:Users Unless you moved it somewhere else. But the most easiest way to locate it is to open it from the Start menu and just go to "My Documents" (WinXP), or "Documents" (Win Vista/7). Sound of samplerThank you so much I run like you said and it works, if I wanted to load different sounds in that format I put them? I tried to put it because the files. sf2 but not read them and convert them into. prs reads them but does not load the same sound and get this written
Sound of samplerSF2 isn't a preset file, it's a sound bank file, which can be opened with the Sampler, by using the Open button on the Sampler's display. Then, after you have made changes to your patch, you can save a preset file (from the Sampler's toolbar on top of it - buttons right next to the Preset name display) if you want it to automatically open that sf2 file for you.

Sound of sampler.prs is an Orion preset file.
.sf2 is a soundfont file, which the Orion sampler can use. .prs file includes the name and location of the sample file(s), and also parameter settings (filter settings, envelope settings, etc.) specific to the Orion sampler.
Re: Sound of samplerHi,
I have big problem with the sampler sounds. All the diffrent sounds U see on the first screenshot sampler->anolog bass-> and the differnt sounds I dont have them. I can see the names but the sampler cant find them?.. Can anybody help me please?.. Best regards Martin
Re: Sound of samplerYou need to install all the sample packs, unzip the following files
platinumsamples1.zip platinumsamples2.zip platinumsamples3.zip platinumsamples4.zip into your Orion\Samples folder, typically located at C:\program files\Orion\Samples Be sure to not create additional subdirectories, the samples must be unzipped straight into the Samples folder. Re: Sound of samplerHi Richard,
Thanks Under installation I can see two different directions orion/samples and orion platinum/samples. Which one of thoose two is the right one?.. Acoustic->Bigpiano and coolpiano and more, I dont have theme, couldnt even see theme in the demo version?.. I dont understand, that some of us have theme? Finally I will like too ask all of U guys in here about how we can make some sounds/sound effects like space sound, space ship, right up, right down, falling, laser and more?.. Thoose sounds/effects, we hear all the time in trance, house, pop, eurodance, techno, in all electronic music!.. The answer will be a great help and wery usefull for all of us, orion lovers. Best regards Martin
Re: Sound of sampler
What installation? What are you trying to install exactly?
The right one is where you installed Orion. It can be only one path where you put it, and you can practically put in anywhere on your computer, it doesn't have to be in Program Files. Mine isn't.
Demo probably doesn't have presets in it to reduce the file size, and because it would be useless to have presets without the samples files that are needed for them to work. On the full (legal) version of Orion, those presets should be installed with Orion (meaning, when you install Orion, you also install presets), but you need to download the .zip files from your service account, and unpack them into "Samples" folder, and make sure you don't make any subfolders in there. Re: Sound of sampler
Orion/Samples is the right one, the other one is a former version of Orion. You can install into both if you use different editions of Orion. Admin - Synapse Audio Software
