In the Mod Matrix LFO1 is assigned to filter cutoff on Row 5.
Now click the reset button on LFO 1 (activate it).
I can't hear the filter sweep anymore. I hit a key and keep my finger pressed down and the filter sweep never happens. I was expecting it to happen, but then for the LFO to retrigger once I hit another key.
With Reset activated on LFO 1, I no longer hear the filter at work. Tweak the amount knob for Row 5 while the sound is playing and you won't hear any changes to the sound. Uncheck "Reset" on LFO 1 and now everything is fine and moving the amount knob on Row 5 changes the sound of the filter.
It seems the LFO can only be free running in order to be able to control the cutoff frequency in the Mod Matrix.

Re: DUNE Weird LFO reset behavior? Not a bug, the RESET knob means that the LFO is reset on each note. As this is an arpeggiated sequence, it means the LFO is reset all the time and the filter cannot sweep. Thus, it needs to be in free run mode here.
Note that is it possible to have the LFO reset, sweep and still play an arpeggio. It requires using the ARP "Modulation Mode". The "Axon Morph" patch does this, for instance. Admin - Synapse Audio Software

Re: DUNE Weird LFO reset behavior?Ah but of course, with an arp the LFO is retriggered after each new note in the arp is played, not when hiting a new note on the keyboard. Duh. Thanks Richard.
