Hello,
Today I was playing with the drumrack of Orion8 and I imported CMX as an effect on my snare to make it wider. But now the snare sounds totally out of rhythm. Doesn't drumrack have automatic delay compensation? Never encountered this problem in reaper.
Second question: Is there a way to disable the GUI from third party vst effects and replace it by Orion's own sliders?
I have Stillwell Transient Monster, for instance and one of its options (old/new transient behaviour) can only be selected in the DAW's native UI, not Stillwell's own. I know, strange but I love Stillwell/Schwa. So sometimes it's important to being able to use Orion's own UI for third party plugins.
Still learning the ropes but with a friendly forum like this, the learning curve is manageable. Orion is worth it.

Re: Drumrack and Stillwell CMX
you need to switch PDC on in the prefs/settings....somewhere anyway
no, you cant do that Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
250GB SSD - 1TB HDD | M-Audio Oxygen 25 V
Re: Drumrack and Stillwell CMXThanks Kriminal PDC works (I found it in project settings).
Too bad for the GUI thingy. Makes Stillwell Transient Monster less interesting to use in Orion.
Re: Drumrack and Stillwell CMXis the switch an automate-able parameter ?
in this case you could switch it from the piano roll did you try the dynamic shaper ? Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
Re: Drumrack and Stillwell CMX
Yes, It's automatable. Case solved. Thanks!! And let's face it, it won't happen much that you will encounter a plugin that has hidden options, not direct accessable through the GUI.
You mean the transient shaper? I have just been looking at it and it could be the thing I need, indeed. Orion keeps amazing me. Thanks, ccarrieses
Re: Drumrack and Stillwell CMXyes, certainly one of the best transient enhancer !
