If you have notes after the end of a bar, you cannot move selected notes into the bar using the multi-select tool.
eg:
Create a 32 beat pattern.
Record something into beats 17-32.
Change the length back to 16.
In the Piano Roll, use the multi-select tool, highlight all notes.
Try and drag them back to fill beats 1-16.
You can transpose the notes, but cannot move them back to fill the 16-beat bar.

Re: Piano roll - cannot move notes after end of barIt's not a bug, it's been like that since I know of Orion.
Orion disregards the notes beyond the bar limit, treat them as if they don't exist. Just move your notes before you move the bar length. Easy. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Piano roll - cannot move notes after end of bar@kmatm - in general after pattern length decreasing, notes should be cut. But of course, that would be very annoying for almost every user. That's why notes still exists, to not loose them.
Few ways to move the notes: A) Increase pattern's length again to get access to all notes, then move notes as You need and decrease pattern's length again as You need B) To move all the notes from outside the pattern's length area, for first select all of them by lasso tool and then move left/right arrows on Your keyboard C) To move a single note, just unselect all notes (if selected) and switch to pencil tool and then just move the note inside pattern's length area.
