I've just added an old bank of DUNE1 patches to everyone's user are. I used to sell these for £10 and they were rather popular. So if you have DUNE1, but haven't used it since DUNE2 came out then maybe you could show it a bit of love 8)

I've added 198 new wavetables to each user's area: MH RMPM (99WTs) and MH TZFM (99WTs) in each of the formats that I've mentioned.

I'm just in the process of uploading two new sets of wavetables (198 in total) to the user areas for those that have purchased the £10 lifetime wavetables package.

These new wavetables include 8 x 2 operator phase modulation where each operator has it's own envelope to create a morphed wavetable plus a separate set using 'random filters'. Random filters is where I've taken a set of mixed analogue oscillators and filtered them with two filters in series recursively. The filters are a randomised impulse response followed by a generic low pass filter.

What's the problem with it? It's the best way I've found for organising things and those that use OneDrive get to automatically sync their own folders.

I've just uploaded 99 wavetables that simulate the vector synthesis of a famous synth, but using my own wave cycles rather than from the actual synth.

Here is a demo using a single wavetable:

https://soundcloud.com/markholt/mh-vectorbibs

The wavetable contains 8 cycles that are set to 2 sets of four using different voices to simulate two oscillators using Synapse Audio DUNE2. Four MSEGs are used to morph through each set of four wave cycles.

Edit: The relevant user folder is called MH Random Cycles.

The VS wavetables are great fun!

Anyway, I was wondering what people out there would be interested in terms of new wavetables.

I've uploaded a lot of FM, iPD, basic physical modeling and analogue stuff, drum hits plus mixtures of each and more. What would you like to see?

I was dreaming about VS wavetables during my commuting :D
I was thinking how to emulate the joystick movement !
i will look at your solution
i don't know what to ask for ... maybe something a la D50 ?
is this relevant to wavetable ? i am not sure
in any case, we will need to retire to explore all your wavetable

If you truly want to do VS style then morph between two cycles per voice using different LFOs/ENVs/MSEGs and then a separate LFO/ENV/MSEG to morph between the voices. You could also use keytrack to have different sounds across the keyboard.

I'm already working on a sample playback approach that might help with D50 style LA synthesis, although you can get fairly close using some of the morphed wavetables that you have already. Just have those fading out over the background of a square wave or sawtooth plus/minus ring modulation between oscillators.

Just uploaded ~160 new wavetables for each format for users who have bought the lifetime upgrades pack. These include some new Casio VZ style wavetables as well as some True FM, PM and simultaneous FM+PM using modulators that have been Hilbert filtered.

I'll now set to work on generating some formant wavetables.

Also, a word of note, those who want to use these in UVI Falcon need to add an underscore before the 2048 in the file name. Sorry about that. I'll rectify that with future wavetables!

I think the transfer function is how one wave form modulates an incoming signal.
I think lesser beings such as myself may say waveshaping, but I am sure it is more esoteric than that........
