;-) Hi all !

Ok , even if i don't succeed to make a better mix and mastering , i dare to present you this new track all the same !

Aquestone vst is used for this track . Websites are http://www.a-quest.com and http://www.a-quest.com/aquestone/index_en.html

Two samples from http;//www.freesound.org also are used in this track .

The first is called japanese.english.spanish.colours.wav from Dobroide , i've only used the Japanese part . You'll find it here http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=52785

The second is called Flute.wav from UncleSigmund . You'll find this one here http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=61498

Aquestone uses the Japanese Hiragana syllabary so i've tried to reproduce some lyrics into Japanese but i'm not sure they are correct . I've tried to do the same with lyrics taken from a text2speech tool and played through a vocoder .

Don't forget i've made these lyrics with my small internet's knowledges about Japanese culture , so i hope i didn't do much mistakes ; unfortunately if yes , i would like to say i apologize to Japanese people .

http://www.4shared.com/file/89478667/37 ... i-San.html cover picture made with Bryce and free 3D objects from the net .

http://www.4shared.com/file/89476762/a6 ... j-San.html 320kbps

http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7371689 Soundclick 128 kbps is really bad . my wavs files from the stream are better and sounds not too much bad but i don't know why when i convert them into mp3 the result is awful .

Thanks to HG Fortune for his nice VSTis

Nice, tubular! The mixing and stereo "space" are mighty cool!

:o Ohh ? Really ? I'm surprised , i thought it was not really good . :biglol: ok maybe i'm on the way to be better ?!!? :idiot:

Thanks Epilogue ! ;-)

You know , mixing and mastering is the stage where i really get a lot of troubles/difficulties ! I'm a " preset big user " , so when it's time to search , to turn the knobs and find the good sound , obviously this is more difficult ! There is a lot of features in Orion i really don't know for what they are useful ; surely they are but i always think that's for the pros . You guys , often use terms i simply don't understand : buses , routing etc i know i can use this in the master but what can we do with this features ?.. I remember trying to analyse Wellenraush mix in his demo but i didn't understood anything :D ; even the use of the vocoder is already complex to me ! But this is because i don't have much time to learn , so i prefere to try to compose something nice rather than to test all the features of Orion .

It's a long road o' learning, for sure. I have no musical training - everything I've learned is self-taught and gleaned from forums over the years. To this day I still do everything by ear.

;-) Yes same for me no musical knowledge but there's one ( maybe two ) difference between you and me . You are young and i'm in my midlife and now for me it's more difficult to learn different things . The second is that your studio is really better than mine , no doubt !

Congrats Tubular Tos! Very original Japanese sound world. That vocoder sound was very clever. Is it sample or did you use a real Vocoder?
The mix sounds good to me. I liked this.

:D Hey !! Guys , i am trying to finish the track i've started yesterday at midday i wanted to put it in my Soundclick page this night but my daughters are sleeping now and i can't finalise it now , so you'll have to wait a bit more ! :-) I was on holiday this week and i've spent my time in front of my computer to finish the two tracks you have listened , to start another one yesterday and to make some pics with Bryce and Wings3D .

Thanks Baroquerion ! Glad you've liked it ! You know i've used Shuniji vsti free from HG Fortune , he has a lot of good vstis , he wrote a nice comment on Mysapce about this track , something like " That's thanks to guys like me if he still makes free vstis " .

First lyrics Ohayo Gozaimasu Shuniji-San is taken from a text2speech internet tool and played trough the vocoder i use a lot Vocov . Second lyrics Konnichiwa Shuniji-San is written in Hiragana with the simple windows notepad and played with Aquestone .

Thanks Lance but Vocaloid is really complex to use and really expensive , Myriam from Vocaloid is the voice of Myriam Stockley , a great female singer who has already worked with Oldfield , Funny because Mike has used Vocaloid and Myriam voice on his Light and Shade album . He said it's a nice tool but you must use a lot of other effects to get something good .

You could have speak about Cantor too , this is something similar .
