does not stick in time on DAW

Postby Qbo64 » Tue Nov 12, 2019 10:35 am

Hello, I am writing with a translator :)
I have a question :
in DAW StudioOne when I start play I play Dune3 prest Adrenaline KS. Arpeggiaror works perfectly with DAW in time.
On the second channel DR Global Player KS, it keeps the DAW tempo, but does not stick in time like Adrenaline KS. How to improve it?

Go to the Settings Page and select Sync "Host". Then go the the Arp pages and make sure Sync = ON ( Sync to Notes rather than Hz). Then check the Rate to see if one is set to Triplets or Dotted (T or *) :)

I changed SYNC to Host and it started. :)
Rate in ARP1: 1/16
What it means: Triplets or Dotted (T or *) ?

Here is the Arp set to 1/16 Triplets:

From the Manual:

"When SYNC is enabled, the tempo is slaved to the host sequencer and can be specified in musical
intervals such as 8th note, 16th notes, dotted notes (*), triplets (T) etc. When SYNC is disabled,
the rate is specified in Hz".

If you have two Arp Patches or are using both Arps in a single patch in Dune 3 and one is set to Triplets or Dotted notes and one is set to Straight timing that can cause them to play out of Sync. Sometimes that's desirable and sometimes it's not. 8)

Thanks for the quick answers :)
I think I understand.
Next topic:
In both channels, DAW play time is delayed after the metronome. How to level it? How to speed up ARP so that there is no delay?

That could be due to a lot of different reasons. I'm afraid it's hard to help with so little information.

You say you're using a translator app. There are people on this forum who speak German and French and perhaps other languages if that will help. I don't know what your Native Language is...... :)
