Hi Synapse friends,
I have two Arturias controllers ( keylab 88 - Minilab mkll) which doesn`t have aftertouch keyboard function and would like to know if we can assign any rotary controller knobs to function as aftertouch or breath control input?
I have just bought the World of Cinematic 2 and found that lots of presets comes with aftertouch but I can`t use it!
Any tip n tricks?
Thank you very much

Re: Help on assigning an aftertouch controlAccording to the Keylab 88 Manual its keyboard does transmit Aftertouch:
"The KeyLab25, KeyLab49, KeyLab 61 and KeyLab88 all feature a velocity and aftertouch sensitive keyboard". https://downloads.arturia.net/products/ ... 1_0_EN.pdf Or did you mean only the Mini Keylab doesn't transmit AT ? Yes many midi controllers will allow you to assign a knob or even a drum pad to transmit AT information. You'll have to consult your manual to find out or contact Arturia.
Re: Help on assigning an aftertouch controlSorry for the delay,
There`s a wrong information on those manual. I have Keylab 88 Essential and Minilab MKII and none of those transmit aftertouch with its keyboards. Thank you for trying to help me
Re: Help on assigning an aftertouch controlAccording to the Essential manual: "KeyLab Essential features 8 dual function performance pads that are both velocity sensitive and pressure sensitive".
Page 7: https://downloads.arturia.net/products/ ... 0_3_EN.pdf So unless that's incorrect as well you could send AT from the drum pads. If that still doesn't work there's nothing in Dune 3 or any synth that I know of that will convert incoming data to AT data. You'll have to change the Mod Matrix Sources for the patches you want to use to another controller like Mod Wheel.
Re: Help on assigning an aftertouch controlReally thank you!
I will try that. I was talking about the Keys which has no aftertouch. Maybe I misunderstood your first advice! The other option is like you said! Change to another CC on the Matrix. Thank you very much
