There's an Init Patch for the instrument and FX version in the presets in a folder called Init Patch!

Yes, the demo version does not contan the "init" patch.

Well it is a demo version, there is not much point in designing sounds in the demo with recall disabled. The main reason, however, is simply that nobody ever asked for this since its release, as far as I recall. Also note if you open the "Ace of Bass" patch, you can simply turn down the Volume of Oscillator 2 as well as EnvAmt, then increase the Cutoff and you have your Init Patch

That said of course it is not a problem to incorporate such a function, as in Obsession or DUNE 3, that works both in the demo and full version.

I see what you mean, but the main reason to demo (for me) is to see how quick and easy it is to come up with my own sounds! Not that they're any good

I think it's a good idea to have an initialise function in a demo version, I assumed it was always there, but I've never had a demo version installed

We'll add it to our TODO list for the next maintenance update. It does not hurt to have it for the full version as well. May save a click compared to loading the init patch via the browser

No, the demo only allows to choose from a bunch of stock presets integrated into the plugin.
