Wavetable Modifiers?I'm not sure if that has been discussed before, I couldn't find it anyway. I think it would be incredibly useful to have wavetable modifiers/warp modes (not sure exactly what it's called). Kinda like what Vital and Serum have. Of course, just copying other synths isn't fun, but you guys know how to come up with a good plot twist, I'm sure

Re: Wavetable Modifiers?Ok now you're talking. Something that would actually enhance and expand the range of sounds that DUNE 3 can make.

Re: Wavetable Modifiers?
Basically, various algorithms that warp the wavetables. PWM and Sync would be the most basic examples. Something like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXhm-j0T3xo
Re: Wavetable Modifiers?I'll be honest, I can't hear any difference.
If he soloed one osc and turned off the horrible fx, it might help Windows 7 64bit PC
Re: Wavetable Modifiers?Yeah, it was a bit of a bad example, soundwise.

Re: Wavetable Modifiers? You can do some basic warping using Osc1 or 2 to scan a single cycle sample in Osc3.
Two of them use wavetables to essentially define the phase ramp that scans through Osc3. The other uses Osc1 in sync mode to enable a synced version of whatever single cycle is in Osc3. You can also use this approach to do phase distortion and waveshaping. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
