DUNE SAMPLERDUNE 3 is my go to synth as was DUNE 2. It does everything I need it too,but there is a part of me that wants a sampler to be added. I was wondering if there any plans to add a sampler in future.
Re: DUNE SAMPLERFor a long time I've been asking for the .sfz Oscillator from Synapse's Zampler plugin to be added to Dune 3.
Doesn't look like it will ever happen but it would expand the range of sounds Dune can make by an order of magnitude. I own other synths that allow full sample import as opposed to just single cycle waves and wave tables and the feature is really powerful. Oh well who knows what the future holds.....
Re: DUNE SAMPLERdidn't Rich say he would rather make a dedicated sampler/rompler than bolt on a sample osc to Dune?
then of course you need to supply sample libs.... might be more money in synths than that kinda thing... Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM

Re: DUNE SAMPLERI didn't add them up but there is already Gigabytes of Sample Content for Zampler:
https://www.falkemedia-shop.de/sound/zampler-sounds/?p=1 Yea I don't think the Zampler Osc will ever make it into Dune. Probably require an entire rewrite but that doesn't stop me from wanting the capability since having full sample import in other synths I own is very powerful. Shame they don't have the same high quality core sound that Dune 3 has You're right there is probably more money to be made in other Synths. Slap the Oberheim or Roland or Moog name on something and it will probably sell like hotcakes. But like I said no telling what the future holds.
