DUNE 2/3 - Preset manager

Hi mates,

First of all, congratz for your hard and brilliant work.

I'd like to make a feature request for DUNE 2/3, and it's a modern preset manager, as SynthMaster or u-he synths have. Ideally, for those who has additional sound banks, it would be awesome that DUNE 2/3 could scan all the sound banks and then lists the presets within the preset manager, shown by categories. I understand that, obviously, the task of categorizing the 3rd party presets must be done by each sound designer.

Synth and sound-wise DUNE 2/3 are top-notch since long time ago, so I think that this non-sonically-related feature would really improve the workflow with the synth.

Thank you for your suggestion - it is on our todo list

For now we recommend to use NKS for browsing patches, as DUNE 3 fully supports NKS. It is in fact more powerful than any internal browser anyway, since NKS works across all installed plugins which are compatible.

I'm installing it right now on this system just to see if it's something worth having.

Well it's worthless then.

Anyway there is an active bug report on this forum. Perhaps you guys could test to see if you can confirm or deny the report.

Nothing but since you guys obviously have time to post in this thread could you at least try to help in the other thread ? Is that asking too much of you ?

Bug reports are bug reports whether it's on this forum or the other. I can't reproduce the issue but maybe someone else can....

i dont use a host that us currently available, so cant help.

I don't know why the reports are ignored. There is another one today from a Mac user. Can't help there.

All I can say is both The Legend and LegendFX 1.31 load fine in all 5 DAWs on this system and all 4 on my studio computer both running Win 10.

Not sure what the issue could be......
