I'm demoing Dune 3 and really liking what I'm seeing and hearing. My favorite feature is the ability to tweak each unison voice individually.
I would like to make a couple of suggestions:
MSEG editor:
- Single-click to add point instead of double-click, much quicker because you can click-drag to add and position new points in one go. With double click you have to double-click, then click again (some times you have to even hunt for the point first e.g. first point of the MSEG which always appears at the far left), then drag.
- Abitlity to range-delete points e.g. by right-click swipe, like in Pigments.
- Grid snap on/off and adjustable grid size.
- Bezier curve tension is currently asymmetrical in the up and down directions, ideally this should be symmetrical (personally I find the shape of the 'up' bezier curve more usable than the 'down' shape)
- All modulators are currently unipolar. A bipolar/unipolar switch in the routing matrix is sorely missed. Without it, modulating naturally bipolar parameters such as Pan is very counter-intuitive (Serum implements this, for example).
- Add a Mute button to quickly bypass modulations without losing settings.
- Filter envelope invert, useful when HP filter is used (that or make ENV AMT bipolar)
Thanks!
