Hi,
I upgraded The Legend to HZ version and i love it tho i do find couple areas could be improved:
Unison could be made to play in poly. Unison is using 4 stacks of voices, why not to utilize all 12 voices and give 3 note poly in Unison?

Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsThat is not how unison works
Unison has Always been monophonic Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
250GB SSD - 1TB HDD | M-Audio Oxygen 25 V
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvements
Kriminal again ... Analog Minimoog didnt had 6 oscillators and unison at all, whats your point? This is a VA, not analog synth, i dont see why there is a problem to implament it. Diva for instance has this ability. Roland themselves implamented on Junos that didnt had unison.
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvements
- Other synths have shared unison actually and it makes perfect sense to have it
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsI was surprised there is no Oscillator sync?!
That's in the top 3 minimoog mods, any plans to implement it, other emulations don't have it either, missed a trick there, plus it would be a really great addition. Thanks for listening.
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsYes, poly unison is one of my favorite features in a synth, and I feel like it's especially powerful on synths that's modelling analog characteristics, in those it gets even better results out of poly unison, than a strictly wavetable based synths out there (which more often have the feature, than their analog/subtractive synthesis emulating counterparts.. maybe due to CPU reasons, but we have more powerful CPUs now, can't the code run in multi-core?)
Ideally, I'd like to see the return of note priority: low . I'd like legendhz to be a "bass arpeggiator", so it's getting fed a chord, and it will arpeggiate only the bass note or lowest note. I could do something like this with previous legend, but it didn't have built-in arp, so it had to run through messy external arp plugin (messy in ableton, that is). I haven't found a way to do this in current version of LegendHZ (arpeggiate only bass/lowest notes) I don't know how complicated it would become, but maybe being able to reorder the FX modules? Like draggin them around to different position create different chain And I hope it doesn't go too far, but if it's possible, maybe increase max voice from 12 to 16? If there ever going to be poly unison, more voice will help
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsa pan control (pre-effect section) would be nice.
sorry, i do not speak english well. to write and read i use the google-translator.
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsWith so many more parameters now, being able to lock sections would be far more user friendly than having to lock every setting individually. Lock all could save a ton of time when you only want certain parameters to change, rather than have certain parameters stay the same.
Needing a drop-down menu each time for MSEG/Seq is also clunky. Prev/next buttons, keyboard, and/or mouse wheel support would be an improvement. As well as presets for the FX. And seeing as this is 6 osc and every preset for the original version is 3 osc, it would be nice to have a better way to combine them, like loading one into 1-3, and another into 4-6. If the oscillator rows could be swapped, users could load a preset from the normal version, swap osc 1-3 to 4-6, lock them, then load a 2nd v1 preset using the now empty slots 1-3.
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsIt would also be very desirable to display the MSEG envelope values for the X and Y axes in order to be able to adjust them better.
It would also be great to manually enter the values of the MSEG point to be edited. This also applies to DUNE 3, or the Obsession Y values of the two step LFOs.
Re: The Legend HZ feature improvementsHow about more options in effect configuration? Moving modulaions around could create some nice effects.
