Generator - MIDI Velocity Scale

I also want this feature, so that I can play on my midi keyboard and hear all notes at the same volume, regardless of what the initial velocity is.

The reason is simply that I'm new at playing keyboard and I want to make the playing easier by not having to take into account velocity yet.

Usually you can fix that in the instrument, by turning velocity modulation off.

Maybe, but then I have to change that with each instrument (and maybe more than once). It would be easier to make the change in Orion.

Edit: I took 'instrument' to mean the VSTis, but perhaps you mean the controller. In that case the answer is that the keyboard I'm using doesn't have that option.

Cool stuff Krim! I always knew you had a bit of 'jazz dandy' in you. ;)

I'd say the Mother Lode has been located! :jump:

How do you use it in Orion though?

Probably insert the plug first, insert your synth, and just merely Receive MIDI From the plug to the synth.

I would hope?

Yep, very very cool! Thanks again Krim! :hut2:

Mark - you'll need to set it up like I said, make sure MIDI Ch.s are matching, and seems to work best in MIDI CC mode. Dang thing has a spline node for each note of the keyboard too! Not as easy to use as some effects and/or Yamaha's own breed. But if you can find the key and the node, some pretty cool things can be done. ;)
