Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowwhy are there all these unassigned plugins when I delete a generator? Can't they be deleted together with the generator and mixer channel?
I always have to clean up my projects from these unused things.. Or add a "delete all unassigned modules" button. Another question: do unassigned plugins consume CPU ressources? I guess they need RAM too.. Last edited by T-Breaks on Fri Feb 27, 2009 12:51 pm, edited 1 time in total.

They don't use any CPU. RAM, potentially yes. Orion 8 has "delete all unassigned modules" in its Merge function. Could be added to the modules window too at some point. Admin - Synapse Audio Software

Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowShame you can't make multiple selection in it, would make deleting unwanted things much faster.

Allow Delete key usage in Modules windownot really the same thing is it, its not a request to save time/a few clicks, its a request for the integration of something that should have been in from day 1...
having the time in the toolbar means you never have to click again, you can just look at it and its there (or not look at if if it offends) having the DEL key work wont actually save you any time/clicks, you still have to click on the module you want to delete, then you have to hit the DEL key, same process, but a keypress instead of a click... Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowWiping out numerous modules is hardly quick with the mouse. Go through 10 or so some time - you'll see what I mean.
Arrowing to a module, hitting DEL then "y" is significantly faster than arrowing/clicking a module, mousing over to "Delete..." and then clicking Yes or hitting "y". Phreque.com - Weapons-Grade Awesome.
Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowYou could also just choose "Merge...", then any project and just click OK, that wipes out all unassigned effects in your project at once.

Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowI still don't understand why unassigned modules are not deleted automatically.. I see no reason why they are still in the memory after deleting a generator.

Allow Delete key usage in Modules windowWell what if it contains a multifx holder, which in turn contains effects? Maybe you just came up with an amazing (multi-)effect, hit delete on a generator because you want a different sound, then *poof*, everything is lost?
