CTRL + a = select all in PRThere will always be workarounds. In fact the whole production process is a workaround to compensate for the fact that all the sounds you want to use don't work perfectly out of the box. CTRL+A is a workaround in other hosts that do not treat a pattern as a whole in the first place. i.e. The Orion process is the most efficient and, as someone pointed out, CTRL+X is a process more efficient than CTRL+A - DELETE, so it can hardly be considered a workaround. If you have issues with the clipboard, you can always CTRL-Drag a box around all notes and press DELETE.

CTRL + a = select all in PRdont ask me why because its yust what i prefer but i like copy pasting (merging) patterns with select all notes + copy + paste more then the merge function in the playlist. so i would still love the CTRL + A function.

I understand where you would like CTRL+A but for all the times you want to do something with a whole pattern, that is the only time it is an issue, so if it got changed more people would be pissed off at having to press CTRL+A all the time. Holding CTRL while you lasso select all the notes is about half a step more difficult than pressing CTRL+A anyway, even with a large pattern, which makes it a complete non-issue in my view. Just get over it. Dell G7 (Hexa-Core i7)|Cubase Pro 10||Analog Keys|Ultranova|MicroMonsta|Uno|Skulpt|Craft Synth 2.0|

CTRL + a = select all in PROnly reason I've ever needed/wanted select all is if I want to combine notes of two patterns. Selected notes get merged when copy/pasted, but if no notes are selected the copy/paste copies and overwrites target pattern.
