Hi,
How about the drum rack as a VSTi?????? - Idea is you could make some extra customers? = Only an idea so don't get mad..............People who own Orion could have it for free........but people who don't buy it!!!!.......Image-Line do this with their plugs/generators.......Idea is that even if someone strays off the path to Cubase (heaven forbid it) they have a drum plug they know cos they used it in Orion........
Some folks me included have other DAW software but we still love Orion and always will.......simple as that.......but it's just an idea whilst I watch Rocky 4!!!! -

Drum Rack VSTiDrumrack is one of the best drum synths.
Easy to use, simple, with everything what i need, awesome. +1 about Drumrack as a VSTi. I think, extra money will be earned. I have talked with a lot of music producers about drum synths, they usually say that they aren't happy with drum vsti, what they have, then i suggest them to try out Orion Drumrack and they in a small amount of time are in love with it, only, always they say that they are working with other software, for example Cubase, and drumrack can't be imported in it. :/ Keith Murray, Da Muzicianz, Ying Yang Twins, Big Omeezy Beat Maker.
Drum Rack VSTiI don't think it will work. It is really too basic (even if I use it a lot). Also concerning the VSTi I don't know if it would be easy to implement the midi part in other hosts.
MAybe with some sampler function on each rack (true adsr, slicer, filter,,fine tune, cue point loop...) it would be a commercial success.Too much work IMO Last edited by Eklectro on Fri Jun 05, 2009 12:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Drum Rack VSTicompetition:
battery/dr008/plus one million others with many more features... i dont think its worth while even thinking about a VSTi version. Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
250GB SSD - 1TB HDD | M-Audio Oxygen 25 V
Drum Rack VSTiLet us not forget the SR-202. I like DR for setting up basic rythems, but for fine tuning and control - I think SR-202's just a bit better (for me)
DR as a VST, I think would get lost in the shuffle pretty quickly too. But, it is different - and maybe some may appreciate it if it was out there?
Drum Rack VSTiAs far as i am corcerned every generator in orion is outdated excepts toxic.
Edit: I am not saying that i dont use them from time to time, but the competition out there is really really high these days. Last edited by Vicious_Angel on Sat Jun 06, 2009 3:46 am, edited 1 time in total.

Drum Rack VSTiVicious, your'e Deadmau5 preset in Sylenth1 isn't working.
I can't open it in Sylenth1. Keith Murray, Da Muzicianz, Ying Yang Twins, Big Omeezy Beat Maker.

Isn't it the idea that there are some old skool style synths??? - That are ez to use? - If anything we need more of these included!!! like a Juno style synth with the sliders etc..... If folks would like the newer multi-GB-sample banks they can go and buy them!!! - so how about a Juno??? and and SH-101 maybe you would need to rename them!!! -
