Okay then, if Suneel's got 31 going on - then I can see the memos and stuff happening. I'm just getting into the multi timbral stuff myself, and is a chore to keep track of indeed.
Carry on then gentlemen.

scratchpad/note for playlistDon't your ears tell you what is happening where? Why would you need a note at all?

scratchpad/note for playlistDon't know about Suneel and/or this OP8, but in the case of say this Orchestra thing I'm using - it can have different vibratos and modulations on different channels. By and large I can hear what's going on, but then I might say at 1am 'amplitude modulations for flutes and pitch bends for the violins' and is good to have a note before or in the morning so I'm not totally shocked.
Me, I'm using DXpad like a mo-fo these days.
scratchpad/note for playlistits like using a gui os and a text based os like unix. If you memorize the commands then you know how to use text commands and get the job done. OR you use icons in the gui click click and get the job done. as you said abt => 1WHAT & 2WHERE. In a mix with several generators your 1WHAT now becomes more like WHERE is my 1WHAT. And in your 1WHAT, there are dozens of automatable WHERE parameters. Also if you have the habbit of taking an old sfs and scavenging a few elements off it, its seems to me a note is quite an efficient way to get WHAT you need by going exactly to 2WHERE.
scratchpad/note for playlistSorry, I don't see any value in it at all.

scratchpad/note for playlistdont worry abt it if your not having a problem.
scratchpad/note for playlistThe MIDI Outs are nameable right? I'm usually lazy and just have MIDI Out 1 and 2 and so on. But inevitably I'm 'what's 2 doing to whom again?
Gotta get labeling.
