1. Scrub Tool: THis lets the mouse rake the cursor across notes in pianoroll vu and produces the sounds, no console on/off necessary.

Scrub Tool a la Cakewalkselect all of what?
Scrub Tool a la CakewalkThink he means notes in edit mode, as opposed to lassoing them all.
Would be nice for working with multitimbral synths and big huge patterns going to different channels. Scrub tool... Not to sound like Bones, but what the hell is wrong with 'Play'? Solo+Space Bar = hey, there's the bum note and/or chord.
Scrub Tool a la CakewalkI'm not sure how useful that is in a pattern based environment. It might make more sense in the Playlist, especially for audio tracks.

Scrub Tool a la Cakewalkif you press the mouse on the keys in the PTR, they will sound....you cannot 'rake' across the kybd tho
Scrub Tool a la Cakewalki think it's scrubbing as in time-line scrubbing done in video editing.
it seems it'd be a real beast to do with any accuracy in Orion, as opposed to straight audio and video data.
Scrub Tool a la CakewalkI too could use a good scrubber.

Scrub Tool a la CakewalkNow scrub in Song mode might not be a bad idea! Many times if I'm sliding a clip around to get that reversed audio 'wash' effect with a synth or whatever and want that 'moooooooZ/Zooooooom' ramp timed nicely, I could definately use scrub there. And double tracked vocals. I know I made some bum timings on Hannah And The Animals, and really wish I had scrub there in OP to pinpoint. I can do it in WaveLab to the audio tracks alone, but without the music. But would be nice to gauge it to the guide track on the HH, or maybe secondary on the snare is actually better?
Would be nice. And Bones didn't shoot it down in flames either!
