The Legend - Ableton Live Note Expression - Pitch

Postby pduffy » Tue Jul 27, 2021 10:52 pm

Is there a way to enable per note midi pitch bending using Note Expression in Ableton Live 11 with The Legend? I've drawn the bends as I do with Serum and Vital and they work but not with but not with The Legend. I max'ed the Up and Down PB ranges in Global settings, tried the Init patch (among many others), and used every mode of Polyphony as MPE is supposed to be enabled in Poly modes. PB using the old MIDI Ctrl Envelope works with The Legend btw.
Many Thanks

Did you enable MPE mode on the desired Legend's track?

Still confounding me. The MPE is enabled as suggested. Per note PB does not work. Also using the PB wheel on my Arturia keyboard does nothing even though it records movement of the PB slider in Legend. Same with a Roli Block. If I directly manipulate the PB slider inside Legend it does audibly change the frequency. There must be some Live setting I'm missing.

Thanks

Is this Mac or PC, demo or full version, and lastly VST2 or VST3 (note VST2 is the version to use for MPE support)?

Thank you very much. PC, full version. I had tagged the VST3 in my Instrument Collection. Replacing it with the dll solved the issue as you said. I missed the lack of MPE support in the VST3.
