Those are only short sound demos, in the end your composition style decides if it sounds 80s or not! But the sounds themselves are definitely scifi themed with a modern cyberpunk character. Listen to 06:04, that's far away from 80s!
The pads are pretty epic and wide, the cyber piano patch sounds modern, the basses are very punchy and offer tons of distortion via modwheel and the plucked sounds are mostly a hybrid between traditional and digital ages - all things that weren't in the 80s. Of course there are a few single sounds that could fit into 80s themed music by default (
Demonic Night, Cyberpunk 80s, Crystallic, The Machine - to call a few) but as said previously, the composition makes the feeling and there are on the other side tons of patches that by default fit into the modern cinematic genre. If you add gated snare drums and tape effect on the composition and put tom rolls onto transition points, then you've added so many 80s elements that it will fit into 80s. If you however add modern rock drums or epic war drums and make use of orchestra while aiming for the modern scifi sound, you will absolutely achieve that with the sounds from this bank. I designed it to be flexible enough to head into both of those directions.
