The Legend preset browsing issue

I recently bought The Legend for its fantastic sound.
I use it in Orion X86 on Windows 10 x64.

However, I have an issue which makes the plugin practically much less usable for me:
(I am using it in far less projects than I expected)

When browsing presets from the Legend user interface with the < > buttons, after a few presets, it jumps back to the bass directory and starts browsing bass presets. Also it jumps back often to the demo folder.

This makes it a pain selecting the right lead sound or any other non bass sound.

Do you have any idea what could cause this and maybe could suggest a workaround?
(I realize Orion is discontinued, but it feels strange that even the Synapse host itself reveals this issue.
I expect something strange is going on with folder rights, bug etc.)
