[SOLVED] Install issue: Resource images not found

Hi,
I just reinstalled Dune 3 on Mac Big Sur and when I try to launch it in either Cubase or Logic, I get an error that says:
Resource images not found! Please reinstall the plugin.
Has anyone run into this?

Is there a number of image in the message? Also did the installer create the following folder?:
/Library/Application Support/Synapse Audio/DUNE 3/Skins/Default
and does it contain skin/image files?

NO, the Dune 3 folder does not have a skins folder in it. I went ahead and manually placed the skins/default folder in the path you specified and it's still giving me the error.
I've uploaded the error message.

Update: - Just realized it's only doing this on the VST3 version. the vst2 and au versions are working.

Ok, then please try the following - please rename the folder:
/Library/Application Support/Synapse Audio/DUNE 3
to (for example) "DUNE 3 copy" and copy the "Content" folder from the disk image to the:
/Library/Application Support/Synapse Audio
and finally rename "Content" to "DUNE 3".
If you dont have any custom data (patches, wavetables) just delete old "DUNE 3 copy" folder.
It looks such as installer did not have rights to write to the folder. Did you use any backup/restore software for moving files from previous Mac?

That didn't work either. Not sure what's happening.
I haven't moved anything from a previous Mac or restore anything but I did delete a previous version of Dune 3 a while back before reinstalling 3.4 the other day.
Thanks for troubleshooting. I'll just stick with vst2 version.

Solved by access rights fix to the VST 3's resource files.
