Preset backup required before DUNE 3.5 installation?

Another report of presets missing after update. I did try to warn people about this.

They are NOT missing, they are in a place Dune isn't looking.

That is possible, but i searched and couldn't find the 2 presets. Please consider they were removed.

Yes, hahah, i saved the presets in the legend folder. I guess after saving so many presets in this location, orion by default saved here cause i was negligent to change the directory. Cheers

Hi guys, I have updated my Dune to 3.5 and my third parties sound banks have gone! Do I need to reinstall then or there is any way of redirecting the banks browser to find then? That is terribel!

Are you on PC or Mac? If that's PC, please be sure that during installation you are providing the same "Data folder" location than the previous installation was using.

Thank you for the message. I have already installed the new version on top of the old one and didn't remember the correct data folder place! So I think I have to reinstall all banks again! Thx

download the app everything and do a search for the banks. I wager you will find them. Cheers

Download Instructions.

Extract the zip into the user presets folder, on windows its user/synapse audio/dune 3/sound banks/user

Copy wavetable folder inside the Dune 3 wavetable folder

On Windows: C:\Users\tjivo\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3\Wavetables

Copy the Preset Bank name with TTU in the title, so "bank name TTU" here on windows: C:\Users\tjivo\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3\Soundbanks

Note this is the same place where one extracted the zip.

The Bank should now show up with all Tags.

To Add TTU in the artist name, download the config file here.

We have included a new "Import ZIP" function into the new 3.5 browser. So users can install external soundbanks with a single click, and it should all work automatically, even the wavetables and your config.ini should be taken care of

So instructions could be as simple as:

1) Download ZIP soundbank file
2) Open DUNE 3 -> Browser then choose the "Import ZIP" function from the MENU

If you want us to check, pls PM us the banks and we will be happy to take a looksee
