Dual Arp in Dune 3 - Why not 8 independent arps?

How do I use both arps at once, which looks like a new feature in 3.6 It still seems to switch between the two.

Why not have each layer have its own arp with its own rate?

I'd really love to see this. Lush 101 has an arp for each of its 8 layers and the sequences I can create are really awesome. If dune had this, it would be even better.
