While checking out Kevin's excellent Halloween patches today I decided to spend some time and make a few more of my own. While working on "LED Kepler Tek" all of a sudden while playing the patch the aftertouch got "trapped" for a lack of a better word. It's constantly being applied whether I'm applying aftertouch or not.
This is something I experience fairly often with DUNE 3. I've always blamed it on the DAWs I'm using or my controller since no one else has reported the issue and usually switching patches then back again will "untrap" the AT.
This is the first time the issue has affected the actual patch itself as it carries on with new instances in two different DAWs.
Play the patch Kepler and notice Vibrato is always happening. Play the patch "Aftertouch Test" and see that Vibrato is only active when AT is physically applied as it is with all the other lead patches I've done like the other one I've included in the zip file. To clarify, this issue did not occur when I first created Kepler, only after I had played it for awhile.
In Kepler even deleting Aftertouch as a source and Mod Amount as a Destination does not stop the vibrato. Only turning the Osc switch to off in the control section shuts off the vibrato.
This could be user error or a system specific issue but I've gone over it multiple times and I do not see where the user error would occur.

Re: Aftertouch in Legend HZHi Teksonik,
in your Kepler patch, the modulation wheel is not set to zero. This is causing the permanent vibrato, not the aftertouch. If you set the modulation wheel to zero, your patch works fine with no vibrato here. Turning off the OSC modulation will of course also work as you pointed out. Richard Admin - Synapse Audio Software

Re: Aftertouch in Legend HZOk thanks I see it now. I forgot the Mod Wheel is permanently assigned to the Mod Amount whether it's assigned in the Matrix or not. I must have bumped the mod wheel on my controller and then saved the patch. I also forgot that Legend is the only synth I'm aware of that saves its MW position in a patch.
Anyway here are some patches for LHZ. Not as deep and cinematic as those by Kevin but more bread and butter for lack of a better term. Some leads, basses, synths etc. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
