Had the legend for a few years now.
It ran without issues on my old 1080p screen at 150% resolution ( recommended )
Got a new 4k screen with resolution running at 300% resolution ( recommended )
Some other vsts have had problems, because they're old and have an excuse. The legend on the other hand, is relatively recent
and is tiny.
I don't have 20/20 vision, but even when it's set to large, it's still not an acceptable size, especially when Dune 3, which is a similar age is much bigger and has a huge setting, and a fullscreen UHD mode.
I see no other settings for resizing this apart from the double arrow in the mid left corner dropdown which has small, medium and large settings. This isn't enough. I want to be able to actually see something I paid good money for.
Can anyone help fix this please ?

Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoHi. What's your exact screen resolution? What's your screen size (in inches)? What DAW are you using? Also, check that your scaling is set to 300% for sure. Could you also post a screenshot of the entire screen when The Legend's UI size is set to large?
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microsco
Better to just show you a screenshot of the scaling It's a 42" inch screen At the minute, I'm using FL Studio 2025 For context, I put Dune 3 alongside The Legend, to show the difference. Legend is at it's maximum size. I need it to be the same size as Dune 3, and it's not even close. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoDid you try maybe a multiple options for DPI scaling in the FL Studio?:

Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoI;ve been re-installing hundreds of plugins, and I usually leave the "make bridged" thing alone, unless it's a last resort, and it's an old
32 bit thing that's on it's last legs. It tends to introduce a bit of instability and glitching / weird lines onto a UI. The legend isn't that old, and "shouldn't" need that last resort treatment. It's almost like Dune and the legend were designed by 2 different people when it comes to this scaling issue. Why are they treating this so differently, if they're both around the same age ? Dune is maybe 3 times the size and needs absolutely no messing about, or making it jump through hoops to be just a normal size. I've had 20 or 30 other plugins today with similar issues, so I apologise if I come across a bit stressed. I thought getting a high definition screen was supposed to make things easier........
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoIt does not require the "Make bridged" option to be enabled.
Open the plugin settings and uncheck the "DPI aware" option. Then, reload the plugin and finally reopen the user interface: The UI should be scaled afterwards. It does not make the plugin bridged. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscook, so I unchecked DPI aware, and it went absolutely massive. I then hit the diagonal arrow in the top left of the legends UI, and it shrunk to something a bit more normal. It's still too big for the screen, and now it has glitchy lines on it which appear when I drag the UI. How can I shrink it further, and get rid of these lines which shouldn't be there ?

Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoWhich size did you choose? Is il small?
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoYes. It won't go any smaller apparently
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoFrom what can be seen and calculated based on your display settings, this size appears to be Medium, not Small. Make sure you're setting it to Small. A resolution of 3840x2160 pixels at 300% scale should correspond to a resolution of 1280x720, while the small UI has a size of 932x580 pixels (which should be completely visible and much smaller than the screen).
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoIt's definitely set to small. Here's another screenshot which clearly show a tick beside small.......and nothing in the OS display settings has changed frpm the display screenshot I posted at the top of the page.

Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoAh, okay, it looks small on this screenshot. I thought the previous one covered almost the entire screen. But the lines look like they've disappeared? I'm afraid there's no other option for now. However, you could try setting the scaling to 250% instead of 300%. It might make the entire screen less large. I think it's worth checking.
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microsco
I've tried with the scaling, and have lowered it to as low as 225%, but nothing changes. The lines come and go, depending on whether I've dragged it or not. It seems to be border "echoes" from the wrapper, I think. I'm no expert at plugins, and have absolutely no idea how these things are coded. I'm just grateful that they exist at all, because I could never do what I do, unless VST developer's do what they do, but I've had to reinstall hundreds of vsts over the past week, and the easiest resizing system I've encountered is that of U-He, who have a genius system of just right-clicking anywhere on the interface, and choosing between about 10 sizes. With respect, no experiences like this one......no bridging, or messing around with DPI, and no inaccessible bottom right corner drag handles like a lot of developers still don't anticipate as problematic. I humbly suggest taking a look at how they implement this as they do it so well. Like I said, I know nothing about the coding side of this, but I do know the frustration of having to deal with this as a user, and I know how incredibly easy U-He's method is to work with.
Re: The Legend.........can't be legendary when it's microscoHi Marcin
I didn't realize TheLegendHZ is such a comprehsive update to the original, and vastly superior to the original. I've tried that this morning and it's a LOT better, even just from the sizing aspect of it, so consider this solved as I'm going to work with TheLegend's successor now. Thanks for the great customer support. Much appreciated =)
