Dune 3 doesn't remember user init state in Ableton Live

Hey all! As in the title, I've set Dune 3's default state to an init patch but every time I load the plugin I get the default starting arpeggio patch. Anyone else experienced this? This is using the VST3 version on Mac OS Tahoe.
Lenovo Z500T: i7 3632QM, 8GB RAM, Windows 8.1
Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6
Cubase 7.5
