Dune is too different in terms of structure and sound. For Dune 2 it is an interesting option though, as the Antidote algorithms were originally developed for Dune 2, so at least soundwise there should be overlaps.
If the presets one plugin can be used in the other (and vice versa), it improves the user experience as the Dune, and the antidote, and thus increases the number of users. The one plugin will be updated sound like the Dune (by developers presets antidotes), and in the antidote (by developers presets Dune). In short, for comfortable use, everyone has the for ourself plug-in, but presets from these plug-ins will be for all ... Thanks.
Do not twist the handle, if you do not know why you need it!

You can't have the same presets if the controls are different. One synth might have 2 oscillators, the other one 3, one might have different set of filters than the other, and so on. In most cases, you won't find interchangeable presets that can be used for other synths.

one manufacturer
I only know of one manufacturer in either hardware and/or software that have patch compatibility between different synth models and that is Dave Smith Instruments (i.e. you can load P'08 and Mopho presets on Tetra, and vice verse). But they are pretty much the same hardware anyway. There is no patch compatibility between those synths and the Evolver series.
