The box.com page loads up perfectly fine (e.g. https://app.box.com/s/pcogfztu3fgepkxf4rxf77of002ohwpf) – it's only when clicking the "Download" button that nothing actually happens. Then when I look in the JavaScript console I see:

Code: Select all
GET https://app.box.com/index.php?rm=box_download_shared_file&shared_name=pcogfztu3fgepkxf4rxf77of002ohwpf&file_id=f_25350720137 403 (Forbidden)

… which implies that that action is behind some permissions that prevent it from carrying out. I've tried this in multiple browsers. If you have access to that box.com account would you mind checking that it's actually marked as publicly shared, please?

It is publicly shared. It's been downloaded 166 time so far and the last download was 3 days ago. I've just tried to download here, whilst not logged in to box, and it downloaded fine. PM me your e-mail address if you continue to have trouble and I'll send them to you :)

I'm having the exact same issue trying to download the MH wavetables. I press download and nothing happens. The same occurs using multiple different browsers. So, there must be something not quite right.

Mark, I've sent you a PM.

Hmmm. I'll look in to hosting them somewhere else then. Clearly a problem with Box. I'll email you later with the WTs :D

I'm in the process of putting together a website that will contain direct links to wavetables as well as patches.

I'm trying to decide whether or not some stuff is free and the rest paid for or everything is available for 'free' and with a donation button.

What do you think?

Whatever you decide. Free or not, I personally would buy (or donate) to your work. It's quality stuff.

Just don't forget to include information on how to use your useful wavetables. They're like expansions to DUNE 2 capabilities.

Wow, thanks for your endorsement. That means a lot. I'm thinking free with a donation button at the moment, with a bonus private area for those that do donate. There will be patches in addition to wavetables as well as tips and tricks like you asked for :D

I have a new sound bank out for DUNE 2!

Spice Vol.1 is available on http://aiynzahev-sounds.myshopify.com/collections/dune-2/products/dune-2-spice-vol-1

The sound design uses the new analog modeled envelopes in version 2.5, as well as the excellent effects, deep mod-matrix and the independent control of unison voices. The results are rich and thick, and can easily fill out a mix. Huge supersaw leads, dense and lush pads, deep and punchy basses, interesting texture patches, and variety of leads and plucks of character make this bank a great expansion for Dune 2.

This bank features 70 sounds in total: 7 Arps, 20 Basses & Bass sequences, 18 Leads, 11 Pads, 10 Plucks & 4 Sequences.

Patches feature Modwheel assignment and various patches are sensitive to velocity. Also included are royalty free MIDI files and the Ableton Project with the parts arranged as heard in the demo.

Looks like the season for Dune 2 patches. Made a set too that is fairly new. It's one of my more ambiguous projects but had a lot of fun with it. Full version contains 64 patches and 18 custom wave tables and can be found here - https://gumroad.com/l/CGkcm#
