Learning Dune 3

I am a brand new user of Dune 3 and I love it but in trying to learn any new synth I look at presets and work out how the preset has been built. I am confused because on some presets in Dune there is still sound when all faders are down and nothing anywhere changes this sound. I am confused. Where is this sound coming from ? Can anybody help me please.

Which presets are you talking about ? Let me know and I'll look into it to see what's going on. Most likely you're hearing some of the Layers that are active.

yeah, sounds like its a preset with more than one layer

you need to see how many layers are being used, under "unison voices"
