Dune3 - Pitchbend Settings out of tune Bug

Hi.

When i try to set the Pitchbend (DOWN) in settings it gets out of tune.
You have to touch the pitchbend control for this once. It seems like the snapback is not centered to the middle.

Otherwise it's a strong synth. Love it!

I do not notice this issue here. The pitch snaps back perfectly as expected. What "down" setting are you using ? I tried -2,-7,-12,-24. I do not own Ableton but it works fine in FL Studio and Reaper (Win 10 Pro 64 Bit). Does the Pitch Bend Wheel work as expected with other plugins ?

havent had a chance to try yet, but, i think he means after setting to - 4 (or whatever) the tuning is off, and you have to touch the PB wheel to reset....?

Thats the problem, when english is not my native language. Its hard to explain stuff.

I can confirm this issue (Mac Version), too. Once again, to reproduce: First I click on the Pitch Wheel. Then I go to settings, press one note and leave it pressed and slide the number at Pitch Bend Down from 2 up to 64. So, If I have for instance a setting like Pitch Up: 12 and Pitch Down: 12 I would constantly hear a sound which is out of tuned.

Ok I see what you're saying now. I thought you meant that it went out of tune the number of Semi-Tones set in the Bend Range.

Using a Tuner Plugin (the free GTune) it still shows the pitch going back to zero but there is a slight phase or detune if you're holding down a note until you release the note and play another one.

You can test by using two instances of Dune 3 each set to INIT with the bend range set to zero on one. Move the on GUI Mod Wheel or a MW on your midi controller and although GTune shows a return to zero (not plus or minus any cents) there is a perceivable difference in the sound between the two instances until another note is played. The effect seems more pronounced when Osc Reset is not selected.

It's probably something that Synapse should look into.
