I don't know if this is a bug, or I'm doing something wrong. I created a new WT and then exported it to a folder in my D-3 WT library. I have a few WT's in that folder already that I did a while back. I downloaded and installed D-3 ver 3.2 last night and then began working on creating a new WT. I exported it to Dune to the same folder and the little pop-up window that comes up told me it had been successfully exported would appear in the WT list the next time I opened D-3. So, I closed D-3, reinstantiated it on the track, but the new WT is not there. I tried 2 or 3 times creating WT's this way...no joy. I completely closed out my DAW (Pro Tools 2019.8 ) and reopened the session and reopened D-3...still no joy. The older WT's are all still there, but it doesn't seem to want me to be able to save any new one's in my user WT folder. Either I'm doing something wrong, or there's a bug here.

Re: Created WT's Not SavingWe just tested this (ProTools Ultimate running under Windows), saved a wavetable "test.wt" in both the root as well as a sub-folder inside the Wavetables directory. All worked fine here, so there must be more to it.

Re: Created WT's Not Saving
Running PT as admin. So, I just re-booted PT this morning and re-opened D-3 and now the WT's are there. So, apparently I have to completely close PT and reboot it and go back to the session to see the WT's? Is that how it is supposed to work? The odd thing is, I did that last night...closed PT and re-started it and it didn't work. This morning, there they are!!!
Re: Created WT's Not SavingOK I thought you could not export the wavetable files at all. So excuse the misunderstanding, I thought you did not see the actual files in your wavetables directory
Yes the factory wavetables list is only updated when opening a new instance, i.e. the old session must be closed. Dynamically updating the factory wavetables while working in Dune 3 would likely introduce bugs and potentially lead to user errors, since new and edited wavetables are by default stored in patches. Re: Created WT's Not Saving
Well, with Pro Tools at least, its apparently not enough to just close the session. You have to completely close and reopen PT and then reopen the session. Just closing the session, but leaving PT open, and reopening the session didn't work! YMMV with other DAWs I suppose.
