Dune 1 crushes DAWs while registration.

Hi guys! I love the old version of Dune and I use it a lot but after reinstalling the OS when I try to enter the registration code it crushes my DAWs (Ableton and Logic). I'm now on MacOS 10.12.6. It worked well even on newer versions of OS.
How can I fix it? I still use a lot the old version of Dune.

Never mind 10.12.6 is Sierra not Catalina. I've seen reports of issues with some plugins not functioning in Catalina.

I don't own a Mac so I don't keep up on such things as OS version numbers.

If I remember correctly Dune 1 was simple serial number with no Activation.exe needed so I can't imagine how simply entering a serial number could cause a DAW crash.

What versions of Live and Logic are you using? It will help Synapse diagnose the issue.

Yes, it has only a simple registration window and after I enter the registration key and hit return it crushes my DAW.
I use Ableton 10.1.4 and Logic 10.4.4.

I assume you're trying to authorize the 64 bit version of Dune 1 ?
