Re: New Snee-Nee-Iq track postingsI love how insectoid these are, and they're certainly well-mixed. My only irk is that driving bass. It's really effective for the space of one track, but listening to all of them it and having it reappear gets kind of samey. I know psy-trance is all about making it feel like you're falling headfirst into a fractal, but it might be cool to hear some more variety in bassline patterns just to make the tracks more distinct from each other.
That's my take as a techno/house guy. Feel free to disregard if I'm out of my depth. edit: I may just be jealous of how consistent this project sounds. I can barely stay consistent for the space of one track Brian "balistic" Prince

Re: New Snee-Nee-Iq track postingsHa! Thanks for checking them out.
I have tons of trouble with basslines. There is much experiment and deviation but it always makes me feel at odds with the thing and I inevitably return it to mono tone. I usually spend ages on track design development and mix and then when its done its on the shelf and onto another. Was interesting going back thru them to select some for posting. I will try to modulate the bass in the trance plane.(((((((((( Cheers ---=u f o=--- /Radiation Mutant / Snee-Nee-Iq
