New FXP preset files does not work in directory folder

I've put another FXP preset files in the Soundbank folder, but when I open Dune3 I don't hear a sound.

Do you have any idea how I can use FXP preset files in Dune3?

can you see the preset in a list?

which folder is it in?

have you tried making a new folder and putting it in there?

ie Dune3/Soundbanks/New

Yes I had making a new folder and put the FXP preset files in that folder, but no result.

There soundbanks are in Library - Application Support - Synapse Audio - Dune 3 - Soundbanks, on the OSX.

Yes you should always mention if you're using a Mac since I think all of the Dune 3 users who post here regularly are on Windows so can't really help but I'll try....

Are you sure that .fxp is for Dune 3 and not another synth ? When you say you don't hear a sound do you mean the patch will load but it just doesn't make a sound or the patch won't load or ?

Can you upload the patch somewhere so we can take a look at it ?

Sorry! I had also to mention that the FXP files are from Serum for example...

I have created a new folder and put the Serum FXP presets in that folder. But when I want to play the presets, i hear the sound of the first factory preset of Dune3 ( 001 AR Adreline KS).

each synth has his own preset format, you can't use preset from Serum inside Dune

But DUNE3 have FXP and Serum also.Both have FXP Why doesn't work it in Dune3?

Because they are two different synths. Completely different architecture, different parameters, features, and functions.

.fxp is the universal format created by Steinberg for individual patches and .fxb is for bank files.

Some plugins use their own file formats but you can't interchange .fxp or .fxb files from one synth to another. Doesn't work that way.

Very unfortunate, there are unfortunately few Dune 3 banks for sale. Not much for sale.
