Problem starting synapse

Every now and again I try to run synapse and it starts to boot up and it gets to checking whitelist and then says I changed whitelist to recently and I need to wait atheist 24 hours, but I didn't change anything or do anything? Can someone help me or explain what's going on.

What synapse are you talking about ?

Ok I love guessing games so...."starts to boot up" sounds like it might be Orion but it would never say "you have to wait 24 hours".

"Whitelisting" sounds like he's got some browser or anti-virus suite security setting to allow the Synapse website to load and he's having an issue with that browser or security suite setting.

Or maybe he's trying to login here and it fails and the website is telling him he has to wait at least 24 hours but yet he posted here so....

I think a Sticky Post here that would tell people how to ask for help would be useful but then probably no one would read it so we're left with "it's broke please fix".....
