Dune 3 "Blackout" Skin - Large

I have always liked the original dark skin the most but there where a few areas that i thought could use more contrast and definition. I also always preferred the blacked out center / monitor area from the light skin. This is a mash up of stock dark and light skin and some tweaks of my own.

- FX Bus 1, FX Bus 2, etc - these tabs are now lightened when pressed (gives more definition).
- EQ 1, EQ 2, Comp, etc- these tabs are now lightened when selected (gives more definition).
- Center screen blacked out. This was taken from the light skin and i tweaked some of the blue / purple coloring from that to match the stock dark skin.
-took the glare out of the wavetable / waveform edit screen.

Again very subtle changes but for me this makes the stock dark skin easier and more pleasant to look at. Let me know if you catch any errors anywhere.

Can you take the glare lines out of the center screen? I've never liked them. I wish Mikael would release a version without the lines.

How about something like this? taking the full glare out on the original is a bit time consuming (at least for me haha).

Cool thanks, that's much better! I did a mash up with of one of the edits I've done. I use a monochrome version for long periods of viewing but I like orange as well. Still have some tweaks to do in the .ini file and some background color edits but I'll post it later if anyone interested.

Looks sick man! Really like that orange you are using.. If you dont mind me asking whats the color code for the orange? and where in the .ini file is the knob, slide, led color code? i tried to track it down quickly but couldnt find it.

Ok I think I've got the Orange Large skin done. Let me know if you find anything missing.

Large Orange

The color code is RGB 235 141 66 taken from the brightest shade in the knob color.

The Knobs, LEDs, and Slider don't have entries in the .ini file you have to recolor the .png files. I use Paint Shop Pro's Hue and Saturation feature. Makes it easy and you can have almost any color.
