I'm not sure if this was mentioned before or not, or how long it's been there, but as you can see, the not disappeared in the beginning of the playlist as soon as the playlist is scrolled so that the beginning of the playlist view cross the beginning of the pattern, even for a little bit.

Not a big issue, just thought to report the findings :D

i think hypno its because of 2d clipping. the moment the notes fall outside the virtual clipping window, it wont be displayed.

The thing is that clipping window should be at the border of the visible playlist screen. As you can see, the note should be still visible, but it disappeared completely the moment I moved the scroll to the right. Interestingly, short notes show all the way to the border, it's only the long ones that keep disappearing.

Like I said, it's not a big issue, it's only visual, but is still somewhat strange.

yes, i noticed that too...if i have a long pattern, say 128/256, that has one long nsustained note...sometimes it doesnt show up (like you said, if the begining of the pattern is out of view)

bit odd

Exactly. And based on your example:

The playlist had been scrolled just a bit from the beginning.

EDIT: Now when I look at this one, it kind of gives impression that it had been Photoshopped :superlol:

okay its is obviously due to clipping. So what is happening is the start of the note (xMin) )is checked for clipping test and not the whole note (xMax). It finds the start out side the left side of clipping window and hence hides the entire note.

I've got big full patterns where only the first half of the notes appear. Freaked me out at first, but they play fine. And of course, zooming in to have a closer look - they're all there. ;)

Odd though for all our big fancy Vista computers and Super-Duper graphics cards these days this occurs. But as long as the goods are there and I can hear them fine, I don't really mind.

This is one of those thing's that could go on a list till its fixed. Maybe not a FAQ list but a "strange but known about" list, :) So folks don't ask about this next week or the week after. :)

Well, I know very little about programming, so whatever it is, it's not a great issue since everything still plays as it should.
It's just, like Krim said, a bit odd.
