The ability to recognize SF2 embedded data better. Namely the 'choke' provisions for drums and mono instruments. And would be nice to have a longer delay time on the LFO settings. For best realism, a Delay Fade In Time and LFO Decay/Sustain control would be awesome to fully emulate and play realistic wind and string instruments.
More LFO shapes and Modulation destinations - obvious requirement.
Reverse, ping pong play direction button - I never use the sampler just to play drums eh, I am a mangler. Presently I use other devices for this requirement.
Outside of Sfz, wouldn't Rich have to pay licensing fee's to use the others - which would up OP's price a bit. And wouldn't there be a lot of embedded stuff to those files as well?
But NKI - that's Kontackt isn't it? And Gig is Halion? I'm not too familiar with these formats, but the players seem pretty complex. Would they be worth it to have in OP's sampler still? It's nice to have the KRZ capability, but always seem so raw to work with and never feel I get them as good as they'd be on a Kurzweil synth. Why I stay away from these other formats as well I guess.
Considering the ease of use and lack of licensing fee I wouldn't mind seeing SFZ supported
As far as the portamento do you really want Bones to come flying in here gargling on about how pointless it is and there's already a lame workaround for that blah blah yada yada yada?
